關鍵協議(The Proposition)

中文譯名叫做《關鍵協議》，Nick Cave既不是導演，也不是演員，但他既是配樂人，也是創作者與編劇（有如Bono與《百萬美圓酒店》的關系）。據說，它講的是19世紀80年代在澳洲蠻荒之地一個家族沖突的故事，看故事梗概，很像是西部片，但音樂，卻不像。

Nick Cave找來的配樂合作者是長期的合作伙伴、澳洲傳奇純器樂樂隊Dirty Three領袖、小提琴手Warren Ellis，他們合作的這張原聲唱片音樂是如此的荒涼肅殺，遠甚于Nick Cave以往的作品。悲鳴的小提琴、稀落的鋼琴構成了音樂的基調，Nick Cave偶爾更加沉重的悲鳴，以及大量聲音實驗使它更接近Dirty Three的樂風，而一兩處激烈的噪音，讓人想起Nick Cave早年Birthday Party時的狂暴。
