《Mystic Waters 神秘海洋》是 Davol 出道第一張專輯。這張專輯本來是他自己製作出來作為禮物送給朋友的錄音小樣。后來 Silver Wave Records 的老闆 James Marienthal 無意間聽到后非常欣賞，遂和 Davol 簽約發(fā)行了專輯。

《Mystic Waters 神秘海洋》是1989年銷售最好、最受歡迎的新世紀音樂專輯之一，在新世紀排行榜上進入了前15名，并獲得 NAC 電臺TOP30嘉獎。對于僅僅利用夜晚時間進行音樂創(chuàng)作的 Davol 來說，這樣的表揚無疑是對他音樂天賦的絕對肯定。
