Sweetbox成立于1995年。最先由Tina Harris擔任主唱。95年推出首只單曲《Booyah Here We Go》，隔年發行第二張單曲《Shakalaka》，在紐約的舞曲榜3周冠軍。97年一首取樣自巴哈名曲《G弦之歌》的《Everything’s Gonna Be Alright》傳唱全球，在英國、全歐洲日本與美國告示牌都登上銷售排行。不僅如此，Sweetbox還贏得了日本葛萊美點播榜Top10中停留了8周之久。如此耀眼的成績，讓Sweetbox的專輯被全球47個國家發行，一共創下了3千萬張的絕佳銷售。  　　1998年Tina離開，Sweetbox短暫告別歌壇。1999當Geo在一次偶然的機會下碰到了Jade Villalon(現任主唱)，不論是Jade的歌聲、音樂內涵、才華或是親和迷人的個性，都令Geo意識到這就是他尋覓以久的Sweetbox的新主人，幾周之后，Sweetbox就此重生，才華洋溢的Jade帶著新的Sweetbox再次驚艷世界。  　　大家熟悉糖果盒子合唱團大部分來源于那張揉合節奏藍調與古典樂曲的獨特風格《街頭巴洛克》，這張是她們2005年最新專輯《Greatest Hits》!
