A Dramatic Turn of Events

前衛金屬巨擘Dream Theater即將發行他們的新專輯《A Dramatic Turn of Events》，預計將在9月13日，由Roadrunner公司發行。這張專輯將是他們繼Mike Portnoy離隊后的第一張專輯，新鼓手為Mike Mangini。   “對于這張專輯的出爐，我有一種難以置信的激動，我已經等不及要把它分享給所有人，”樂隊吉他手兼制作人John Petrucci說道，“我們目前還在與著名制作人Andy Wallace一起工作，現在已進行到混音階段。所有的這些歌都很棒！”   樂隊鍵盤手Jordan Rudess說，“從我們的內心流露出了很多想多，于是便有了這張專輯。所有的東西都圍繞著我們之前發生過的事，同時在整個專輯的制作過程中，這些東西從深處激起我們的創作欲望，我們希望能夠做出最好的音樂。”   對于新專輯，主唱James LaBrie說，“在Dream Threater職業生涯的宏偉構想里，上幾個月里我們非常的積極，很愉快，這是一件值得我們去做的事。這些新歌的聲音，是我們從未有過的活力十足的感覺。我已經迫不及待的想讓我們的每一個歌迷聽到這些聲音。”
