Welcome To The Fishbowl

       Kenny Chesney，美國著名鄉(xiāng)村音樂歌手，出道至今共發(fā)布十三張專輯。其中第七張個人專輯《When the Sun Goes Down》發(fā)行首周即即奪排行榜冠軍，紅極一時。 　　2005年1月25日，Kenny Chesney的第八張個人專輯《Be as You Are (Songs From an Old Blue Chair)》正式發(fā)行。2005年春，在先后獲得1997年最佳新人男歌手獎，2003年最佳男歌手獎和2004年最佳鄉(xiāng)村藝人獎之后，Kenny Chesney獲得鄉(xiāng)村音樂學(xué)院頒發(fā)的三冠王獎(Triple-Crown Award)。2005年11月，Kenny Chesney發(fā)行了第九張錄音室專輯《The Road and the Radio》,專輯中獲得三白金銷量認(rèn)證，并包含三支冠軍單曲《Living in Fast Forward》,《Summertime》以及《Beer in Mexico》。2006年9月，Kenn于BNA旗下發(fā)行了自己的第一張現(xiàn)場專輯《Live: Live Those Songs Again》。 　　　2007年9月11日，Kenny Chesney發(fā)行了個人第十張錄音室專輯《Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates》。專輯主打單曲《Never Wanted Nothing More》成為Chesney在Billboard鄉(xiāng)村單曲榜上的第12支冠軍單曲。專輯的另兩支單曲《Don't Blink》和《Better as a Memory》分別登頂。2007年11月7日，Kenny Chesney在四年內(nèi)第三次獲得鄉(xiāng)村音樂協(xié)會年度最佳藝人獎。一周后，精選輯《Super Hits》作為Sony BMG唱片的《Super Hits》系列的一部分發(fā)行。 　　2008年10月14日，Kenny Chesney第十一張錄音室專輯發(fā)行，名為《Lucky Old Sun》。專輯中誕生了兩支鄉(xiāng)村冠軍單曲，分別為《Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven》和翻唱的Mac McAnally1990年的單曲《Down the Road》。 　　2010年5月19日，Kenny Chesney發(fā)行了一張包含兩支新單曲的精選輯《Greatest Hits II》，兩支新單曲《Out Last Night》和《Ain't Back Yet》在Billboard鄉(xiāng)村單曲榜上分別排至冠軍和第三名。2010年9月28日，Kenny Chesney發(fā)行了他的第十二張錄音室專輯《Hemingway's Whiskey》，專輯首支單曲《The Boys of Fall》已于7月下旬發(fā)布。 Kenny Chesney is calling his 13th studio album Welcome to the Fishbowl, and USA TODAY gets the first look at the new album's cover. Chesney says the title of the album came from a conversation he had with some of his football-playing friends at a beach bar called The Red Bar in Grayton Beach, Fla. "We walked in, and it was packed," Chesney recalls. "There was about 20 minutes of people coming up, saying hello, wanting to get something signed. "After that died down, one of those guys said, 'I didn't realize your life was like this.' I said, 'Hey, man, welcome to the fishbowl.' As soon as I said it, I realized that I was going to write a song about how our world and our culture is shrinking." Chesney insists that the song isn't necessarily about celebrity. "In fact, at the end of the song I speak to celebrities and say, 'You asked for this,' " he says. "But you don't have to be in the public eye for your business to be everybody's business. And that's just the way it is." When it comes to the songs on Fishbowl, Chesney recalls a different conversation, one he had with Matraca Berg, the co-writer of his 2010 hit You and Tequila. Berg told Chesney that he was at a point in his career where he could cut both great songs and songs that would fill football stadiums. "I think that's what I'm enjoying about this part in my career," he says, "and the new album's going to show that even more. Not a lot of artists, especially if they're as mainstream as me, have that freedom." The album will hit shelves 17 days after Chesney and Tim McGraw kick off their Brothers of the Sun tour in Tampa on June 2. The two singers will perform together on Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards telecast (8 p.m. ET/PT, CBS). "We start rehearsing (for the tour) after the ACMs, and we start piecing it all together," says Chesney, who expects to include at least three songs from Fishbowl in his set. "I try to fill my sets full of songs that everybody lives with every day. To play a new song in a stadium, you might lose people. They might tune out for three minutes. But I'm at a point in my life where I want to play them new music. I want them to know we might do Fishbowl and a couple more.
