Alexandre Desplat

亞歷山卓．迪斯普拉特（Alexandre Desplat）1961年8月23日生于法國巴黎。母親為希臘人、父親為法國人，兩人相遇于加州柏克萊大學(xué)，后于舊金山完婚，定居于法國。迪斯普拉特五歲時開始學(xué)習(xí)鋼琴，后來改學(xué)小號與長笛。由于熱愛音樂與電影，于是決定以電影配樂家為終身職志。1985年完成第一部作品《Ki Lo Sa?》，至2007年已經(jīng)為100部電視及電影創(chuàng)作過配樂。 2000年迪斯普拉特以《路辛的棋局The Luzhin Defence》開始受到美國市場的矚目，2003年以《戴珍珠耳環(huán)的少女》（Girl with a Pearl Earring）獲得金球獎的提名。之后，與好萊塢的合作更為緊密，作品包括：《靈異緣未了》（Birth，2004）、《愛你愛到快抓狂》（Upside of Anger，2005）、《終極人質(zhì)》（Hostage，2005）、《情圣卡薩諾瓦》（Casanova，2005）、《諜對諜》（Syriana，2005，金球獎配樂提名）、《猜心》（或譯《面紗》The Painted Veil，2006，第64屆金球獎獲得最佳原創(chuàng)音樂獎），以及廣受好評的《黛妃與女皇》（The Queen，2006，金像獎配樂提名）。其他著名的作品還包括：《我心遺忘的節(jié)奏》（De battre mon cœur s'est arrêté）。他為好萊塢帶進(jìn)不少歐洲配樂的創(chuàng)作思惟，并灌注深度與優(yōu)雅的成份，配樂大師的地位已然奠立。 迪斯普拉特的配樂方式并非以點對點的方式來為畫面搭配音樂，而是以冥想性的風(fēng)格，鋪陳影片的情緒。在最新的作品《色·戒》電影配樂中，精準(zhǔn)掌握電影之悲劇氛圍，將凄美卻又略帶悲壯的氣氛，綿密鋪陳。主題旋律在優(yōu)雅中隱含著不安與不祥，主奏的大提琴緊緊牽系著愛欲與暗殺的情緒，而陪襯的樂器，無論是鋼琴或是弦樂，都讓無窮的余韻深切地?fù)軇佑^影者心底的淚眼之閥。迪斯普拉特的音樂魅力，在電影中無言的片段尤其撼動人心。配樂隱然成了人物的對白，輕易地道出了每個角色心中無法言喻的多重欲念，與揮之不去的深沉感傷。 by William Ruhlmann French composer Alexandre Desplat is the son of a Greek mother and a French father who met in the U.S. while both were attending the University of California at Berkeley, married in San Francisco, and settled in France. He began studying the piano at age five, later switching to trumpet and then flute. Fascinated by both music and film, he decided to pursue a career as a composer of movie scores. Starting with Ki Lo Sa? in 1985, his scores for television and film had reached a total of 100 by 2007. In these works, he developed a contemplative style that did not attempt to respond on a point-by-point basis to the action onscreen, but rather set its own complementary mood. He began to attract attention in the U.S. with The Luzhin Defence in 2000, which had a soundtrack album released in America by Silva Screen Records. His music for Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) earned a Golden Globe nomination, and with that recognition he began to work increasingly on English-language films distributed by the Hollywood studios, including Birth (2004), The Upside of Anger (2005), Hostage (2005), Casanova (2005), Syriana (2005) (also nominated for a Golden Globe), Firewall (2006), and The Painted Veil (2006) (a Golden Globe Award winner), all of which produced soundtrack albums. The Queen (2006) earned him his first Academy Award nomination.
