by Bhasker Gupta Salim-Sulaiman might not be well-known composers in Bollywood, yet the duo's catalog of music written for various Indi-pop artists as well as original scores is well appreciated. With Chak De India!, Salim-Sulaiman had a demanding job of composing music for an offbeat film under a big banner. In addition, given the theme of this film, the music had to be entirely atypical Bollywood music miles away from the typical yet well-received composing formulas. Salim-Sulaiman deliver a fine output given the nature of the theme. The soundtrack may not be a sweeping success, yet it's still a feather in the cap of the duo when viewed from the perspective of their past material and the film's considerable popularity.
