Aleksandra, currently based in London, has the privilege to cooperate with Belgium's finest musicians, who are involved in top Belgian productions. In 2008 Aleksandra and her Belgian band released a highly acclaimed album of special and fresh originals called 'Island Girl' – released and distributed in the UK, Japan and Europe by London's label: 33Jazz.
